Seeking descendant of Joseph RASEY III (1783-1868)

I am seeking a direct-male-line descendant of Joseph RASEY III, who was born 2 Feb 1783 in Cheshire Co., NH, married 20 Sep 1807 in NY to Catherine BRUCE, and died 18 Jul 1869 in Barry Co., MI. I'm willing to personally subsidize 50% of the cost of a 37-marker Y-chromosome DNA test for such a male descendant.

I descend from Joseph RASEY III through his daughter, Mary "Polly" RASEY, who married Willard BROWN. As a female, I have no Y-chromosome to be tested and, in any case, I "daughter out" of RASEY with Mary; hence my need to find a male RASEY cousin to be tested.

These conditions apply: The test subject must be a male who descends in a direct male line from Joseph RASEY III; adequate proof of this descent must be shared with the me (e.g., a set of family group sheets connecting the subject to Joseph will do), and acceptance is at my discretion. The subject must join the RASEY project at FamilyTreeDNA and opt for the full 37-marker Y-chromosome DNA test. The subject must sign the Release allowing sharing of their test results. (Please note that sharing test *results* does not necessarily mean sharing one's identity, except, obviously, with the project administrator and the testing company.)

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions or wish to accept my offer. I am offering to subsidize only one test, so the "early bird" gets the subsidy.
