This is a photo of the Rash family of Ashe Co, N.C. I can identify a few of the people in this family but need help to positively identify the others. I know none standing in the back row. Seated left to right man with boy in lap unknown, man with hat on knee is Benjamin Elkin Rash, next to Benjamin E. Rash is his wife Julia Ann ( maiden name unknown ), next to Julia the young boy seated in the older man's lap is Lemuel Graham ( Ollie ) Rash son of Benjamin & Julia, the unknown man holding Lemuel is believed to be Benjamin Elkin Rash father David L. Rash, seated to David ( we believe ) is his wife Rhoda Etta Eastridge....Benjamin Elkin Rash was born in 1882, by the look of his age in the photo I would say he was 2 years old when this photo was taken, making this photo dated 1884.
