I am starting a family tree search. I was adopted and was lucky to meet my grandmother before she passed away. I have limited information, but want to find my family roots. I was told that there is Cherrokee in my blood. Nola and Millard would be my Great-Grand parents, my Grandmother name was Margaret Daulphine Ratcliff, she was married two times that I know of once to a Grant Copenhaver (my grandfater) and the second time to Donald Altemeyer. She died 1-23-99 in NewChurch Va. She was born 2-3-30. Her only children were Stanley James and Jeanette both Copenhaver. If anyone can help me I would appriciate it.
