John Rathbone was the son of Moses and Olive (Loomis) Rathbone, and brother to Ransom Rathbone (GENERAL).

Leverett Bush Rathbone (B 1820) Greene, Chenango County, NY

Henry W. Rathbone (B 27 March 1829) Greene, Chenango County, NY
