NEW MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – Thomas F. Raub, 78, entered peacefully into rest on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at 7:55 p.m. in Salem, following a brief illness.
Thomas was born the son of the late Robert and Freda (Foreman) Raub on Feb. 3, 1934, in Marion, Ohio and had resided in New Middletown since 2004, formerly of Marion.
He had been employed as a manager of the K-Mart Corporation, retiring from his duties in 1992, was a part time EMT and also worked at the New Middletown Dairy Queen.
Thomas was a member of the New Middletown Zion Lutheran Church and had served his country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
On Oct. 25, 1980, Thomas was united into marriage with the former Terri L. Simcox and had shared 32 years together.
His memories will be remembered by those he leaves behind, his wife, Terri L. Raub; stepsons, Adam D. Raub at home and Mark Raub of Warren; sister, Nancy Berg of Millersville, Pa.; grandson, Allen; in-laws, Art and Carol Simcox; brothers-in-law, Art (Diane) Simcox and Jeff Simcox; and sisters-in-law, Gigi Simcox, Jodi Simcox, and Shawna (Randy) Dillon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren, Darla Jean and Josh.
Per Thomas’ wishes a private family service will be held. There will be no visitation.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road, NE in Warren, Ohio.
