Re: Raubinger from San Francisco & Germany

There are many Raubinger family descendants in Michigan. My great grandfather was Charles Raubinger, born in the small village of Eppingen, in the state of Baden-Wurtenburg, in Germany 9/10/1836. He settled near Flint, Michigan and was married to Mary Lynch, so it must a unique family lineage. There is a long lineage of Raubinger's that orginated in Eppingen going back to the late 1700's.

Raubinger from San Francisco & Germany

Lets start this board rolling. I'm searching for any information on the Raubinger family originally from Germany. The first and only time I find my great grandfather, Charles Raubinger, is on the 1900 Federal Census in San Francisco (spelled as Baubinger). It states he was born abt 1874 and his parents were from Germany. He is married to my grandmother, Annie (Fitzgerald) Raubinger, b. abt. 1878 and they have a daughter, Hattie. In the 1910 census Annie (Anna B) is still in SF but she is listed as a widow and her last name is spelled as Baulinger.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
