Surnames: ravine, mason, austin,
It would seem that in 2 & 1/2 years someone would at least read my msg of 5 Mar 2005, re: Asa & Susan Ravine.
Asa Clinton Ravine was b. 3 Jun 1882 & his sister, Susan, was b. abt Apr 1884. In Mar 2005, I thought Asa & Susan were children of Effie D. MASON, wife of William Wallace Austin, born either of a prior marriage or born out of wedlock. However, the 1885
Nebraska State census of William H. Austin, father of William
Wallace, shows William (Will) living with his father along with Asa & Susie Ravine. Effie is not in the household & she & Will did not marry until 30 Apr 1892. I have found nothing further about Susan, but Asa is in census, WW I draft registration and there is a pension file (Spanish-American War?) in his name. Any further info on Asa or Susan is appreciated.
