I was going through Boston marriages hoping to scale a Brick wall I have (Joanna daughter of Patrick Rawley in Boston, by the way).
I came accross this marriage that someone might look forever to find and never find it. So here's a post to help you find it!
Married July 4, 1865
George W. Rawley, 31, of St. George, ME married Lizzie Henderson, 31, also of St. George, ME in Boston, MA!
He was a Mariner born in Portland to John and Mary Rawley. She was born in St. Georges, ME to Thomas and Sarah Henderson.
It was a first marriage for both. They were married by Rev. O.F. Walker of Boston.
Marriages 1865 Vol. 182, page. 67, #1189
I don't have any relation to this Rawley (as of yet!) but figured I'd put this out there for anyone trying to scale their own Rawley brickwall.
