In the 1910 Census for Henry County, it lists the following:
Green D. Rayburn born abt. 1871
Effie B.
Green's mother: Sarah
William L. abt. 1893
Richard M. abt. 1895
Thomas B. abt. 1897
Sarah E. abt. 1899
Dora B. abt. 1901
Sarah abt. 1834
James T. Cacey - Boarder

When you listed the children, you didn't mention Thomas B. so I wasn't sure if you had that information or not.

I've never found a connection to the Rayburns in Middle/West Tennessee but haven't wondered if they were somehow connected to my Rayburns in East Tennessee.

Also in a later census, Green is listed as Hovie G. Rayburn and their daughter Bessie is living with them along with her husband, Frank Bennett and their children Estell, Helen Troy L. and Roy D.

I received the following email from Bev's Family advising of her death on April 2, 2009. Bev was an avid RAYBURN researcher. We met online several years ago and we exchanged emails on a regular basis. I will truly miss Bev and wish to send my sympathy to her family.

FROM BEV'S FAMILY:

To all of Bev’s family and friends,

It is with great sadness that we send this note to all of you. Bev Rayburn passed away on April 2 2009 at 8:11 pm at the Peter Lougheed Hospital after a six week stay there.

Funeral services will be at Foster’s Garden Chapal at 3:00 pm on Wed., April 8, 2009.

The address of the funeral home is 3220 - 4 Street NW Calgary AB.

I had to dust off my genealogy records, been away from it for awhile. James Raburn (orig. spelling) stands on the left in front of the blacksmith shop. With the horse is James (later in life) and daughter Elizabeth. The third photo is Thomas Rayburn, a son.

This post is so old but I hope you receive it. I was born and raised in Huntington, WV. My father, gparents and ggparents were from Pt Pleasant. My grandparants and great gparents are buried there. In one of my trips to WV, I visited the cemetery there and took some pics. One was of Everett M. Rayburn, b 1914, d 1975. The tombstone had a semi truck on it. I can e-mail you the pic. The cemetery is the Lone Oak cemetery in Pt. Pleasant.

Mattie Raburn was the daughter of Howell Jackson and Savilla (Raburn). Mattie married James Wilson McClain and Howell Andrew McClain was their son. Hope this helps, these Raburns are in my family line. My gggrandfather was John Marion-William Harvey-Nellie Ann Raburn.

This Noah Rayburn is in my line of Rayburns he was killed during the civil war. There is some pension records and in them was a inquest concerning his death it was horrible. If you would like to read them let me know. Our line moved around alot but originally came from Tennessee. Karen

Male descendants of William and Susannah included sons Henry (abt 1810) Benjamin Lovelace (1815) John L. (1821) William M. (1830) Joseph Elijah (1831) Elihu Allen (1833) and Simeon (abt 1834.) Hamilton, Texas: A tornado near Star Mountain, in Mills County, destroyed five houses, killing George Mason and blowing away one of his children. The child is not expected to live. C. B. Hooker's house was blown away and one child killed and another member of his family injured. The house of Mr. Rayburn was destroyed, injuring four of the family.
