I hope someone can shed some information for me....My GGrandpa Thomas Swader....married Lucy Rayon abt 1870 as their 1st child was born in Georgia in1871...Lucy was born 3-29-1853 Tn...Died 3-26-1908 is buried in the area of Elorado,Illinois. to this union there were 9 kids. one which is my dad's dad...I can find nothing in regards to Thomas or Lucy..I do know the 1st son was born in Georgia and not sure on the 2nd and they moved and lived awhile in Maryville,Tn....for the other kids' births...then via flatboat they went to Shawneetown,Ill... and then Thomas left Lucy and the kids that went with them at the time.not sure how long he stayed there but know she remained and raised the kids...He was a share cropper...and his dad was a stonemaker in England...I did find Lucy listed in regards to her church in Tn....but nothing else can I find...thank-you
