DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. Omead H. Razani, 19, of Los Angeles, Calif., died Aug. 27 in Habbaniyah, Iraq, of non-combat related injuries. Razani was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Greaves, Korea.

The incident is under investigation.
