I am researching Cathrine Reader (possibly Rader)Ruddle. I found in the Shenandoah County Virginia Marriage Bonds 1772-1850 that a bond for Cathrine Reader (dau of Michl) and Andrew Ruddle b 1765, d 1835 in Roanoke Co, VA was issued on 10 Dec 1793. I originally believed her to be the daughter of Michael Rader b 8 Mar 1750 at Rockingham Co, VA, m 25 Dec 1769 to Catherine Long, d 18 Jun 1839 at Jackson Co, VA. However, the will of Michael Rader which was written 17 Mar 1829 still lists his daughter Katherine's name as Rader rather than the married name of Ruddle so now I am not sure.
