I could use some assistance from Reading family historians who review this message board. There was a John Reading who served under Gen. George Roger's Clark. In 1830, he was living in Franklin County, Kentucky. (Documented).

Can anyone supply the lineage of this John Reading and a complete listing of his issue?

I am seeking the parents of a Mary "Polly" Reading who married William McQuady in 1823 in Franklin County, Kentucky. I am led to this board because serving with John Reading under Gen. Clark was a Thomas McQuiddy/McQuady. I think that it was Thomas's son, William, who married Mary Polly Reading. Both Thomas Mc Quiddy and John Reading, who served together, were living in Frankfort, Franklin County, Kentucky in 1830. Could Mary Polly Reading have been the daughter of this John Reading?
