Classification: Query
Surnames: WAGNER
WAGNER - known in the 1100's A.D. in the Rheinland area of today's Germany. Named Wagoneer, Wagoner, Wagner, Wagneer, etc. but basically all from the same families. This was due to the 1600's when families were required to register their families so that records could be kept in the municipalities, towns, villages, etc.. Many towns and villages were named after the families that dominated the community. Rech is a good example. * See Internet site under Rech.

WAGNER - is about the equivalent of Jones and Smiths. WE are everywhere and have grown to enormous numbers. What I profess to do is match each and every family up as much as I possibly can.

If you can submit your Wagner family tree to me, under no obligation on behalf of myself, and willing to share with the thousands of Wagner families, then please do so by e-mailing me at; darwinwagner@shaw.ca or calling me at ( 306 ) 384-0118 ( Saskatchewan Canada ).

My mission is to gather as much Wagner information that I can in order to assist those seeking their ancestors and not knowing where to start. I basically want to showcase the whole of the Wagner families and where we are ALL today.
