I am looking for information on Elizabeth Reddell's parents. I have her father as John D Reddell but he was married 3 times and I am having a problem finding the name of her mother.
Elizabeth was born 1 Feb. 1807 in Rowan NC. I also do not have a date of birth for John D Reddell. I would appreciate any information.

Looking for anyone researching this name. It was spelled Riddle through most of history. My grandmother was Charlotte Ann (Lottie) Reddell, m. James Arthur Prisk. Her mother was Frances Calvary, m. George Wesley Riddle. His father was Thomas Jefferson Riddle, m. Permella Ann Young. His father was Thomas Richard Riddle, m. Member Johns. Inscribed on the back is Beulah Reddell, Abliene TX.

I would be happy to share with any Reddell decendents.

This was in a trunk with other Reddell photo's owned by my grandmother, Effie Reddell Dean.

Beulah was probably a cousin since she wasn't a sibling.

I have a photo card that was professionally done by Thruss Photography in Nashville, TN.

There is no date, but the back was inscribed by my grandmother Effie Reddell Dean.

"Cousin Bettie Reddell, who lived in TN"

It also looks like her married name may be "Oldham".

I would be happy to share with decendents of this person.

Nettie Lee Benson was a Reddell/Riddell/Riddle researcher who published all her research in newsletter format during the 1980's and early 90's.

Nettie Lee was the daughter of Vora Ann Reddell Benson and a UT scholar. The Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection, part of the University of Texas at Austin General Libraries, is housed in the south section of Sid Richardson Hall on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin.

I have several years of Reddell newsletters which include family histories, family stories, family group sheets, queries, photo's and census info.

This was pre-internet and Ancestry.com so much of the information may be outdated, but the photo's and answers to the queries might help some researchers.

If by some slim chance there is anyone out there that is descended from Robert Allen Reddell, I have recently accquired some pictures & documents from my grandmother. I have a few pictures of Robert & one of who I think is his wife. I believe that I may also have some tax records. I also know quite a few other details of his life if anyone's interested.
If anyone is also descended from John William Reddell, even more slim of a chance, I have pictures upon pictures, & documents galore, etc.

John Stortz was my great grandfather married Josephine Kozlowski, they had my grand mother Constance Rose (Gussie) Stortz who married Adam Terrance Redlevicz who later changed their names to Reddell. I am looking for info on Margaret or Margarette Reddell who was born around 1928. I don't know her father's first name, but her mother's name was Elizabeth (Bessie or Betty) Carter who had been married to a Reddell for 4 years on the 1930 census for Columbia county, FL. It looks like Bessie and Mr. Reddell were probably separated in 1930 as she was living with her brother Earnest Carter and Margaret was about a year old. Bessie married Samuel Jennings in 1934 and they all moved to Russell county, Alabama until some time in the early 40's. After that I don't know what happened to Bessie and Margaret. I would like to know more about them as I would be Margaret's step-sister (daughter of Samuel Jennings by a later marriage) Can anyone help?

I am trying to find more info on my Reddell line. (the others too of course). G. P Reddell mar Effie Jewel Lovin. They were the parents of my mother Hazel Jean Reddell and her brother Basil Reddell. Hazel Jean Reddell was born in Little Rock AR in 1929. Effie Jewel Lovin was born in Tyler TX in 1900. I don't know where G. P Reddell and Effie Jewel Lovin were living when they were married or even where they were married. Grandmother Effie passed away in 1983 in Fairbanks, AK. I do not know when G.P. Reddell passed away or where. Hazel Jean Reddell mar Thomas Eugene "Gene" Bond and they moved to Riddle OR where I was born in 1946. Thank you in advance for any possible help. I have a book that says that there were two lines that immigrated to America. One was in the mid-1800's whom I'm not descended through so I don't remember the exact date(I'm not at home right now to check). The other came over in 1664 I believe, it was somtime in that decade anyway, when the English took New York from the Dutch. The first name in the ships register was illedgible. Those are the only two I believe. Anyway, that's it. It was just on my mind.

I received a message from Freida A. Reddell who knows William Doyle Reddell personally. Apparently I got hold of the wrong William Reddell when I tried to find him by phone. Mr. Reddell is in the process of updating his Reddell book. One David Brannon has gotten in touch with him concerning the publishing of it. It may be slow coming though as Mr. Reddell is currently involved in the construction of a golf course which occupies his current time.
