My surname of interest (HUSTON) joins the REDFORD family through Henry's daughter, Sarah. She married Robert HUSTON in Bentinck Township on 30 Jan 1868. Sadly, she died quite young at the age of 33 on 13 May 1883 in Armour Township, Parry Sound District, Ontario.

I have my tree published on RootsWeb WorldConnect, database = taylorbn. If you wish to track Sarah's descendants, help yourself. In turn, I would be interested in receiving any info on her and her family. Bentinck details are hard to come by!

Cheers!

Barry
Sooke, British Columbia

Hi
Have you had a look at my website on tribal pages. put in site id as e190954 and password aline. This site does not give you detail behind the name but there are photos.
I have very little on my Welsh side and would love to get more info so I do hope we are related.
I use family tree program and so if compatible i could send you a gedcom. My great grandfather was Sam Roberts and I am related through Harriet's sister Herberetta known as Bretta- my Nana. However I thought Harriet died between 1901 and 1911 as i had her on 1901 census but could not trace on 1911 census. I will now go back and check again. I guess we are similar ages. I was born in 1954.

Get back to me on elaine.redford@gmail.com

Redford Indian lines

Brenda,
My husband is a direct line from The same Jesse Redford. I have not found any records but the family stories tell me to search possibly Calvin, Oklahoma??? Winifred or Winnfred Priscilla WATTS was supposedly 1/2 indian. Her name was supposedly on the mixed roles. If that is actually true then it was her father that was an indian because the tribes deleted the names of the children that came from the mixed marraiges when it was the mother that was indian. It wasn't until the last 5 or 10 years that was changed. (History lesson)
Winnie's father was namedBill or William WATTS and he married a woman by the name of ????JOHNSON. By the way... some of the data you have is not precise. email me at momwood@centv.net. Iused to work inthe LDS genealogy library. Maybe I can help. Also... some of the data I have on your particular line is just a tad blank as well.
Your partner in family search
Audrey Wood

He died in the early 1980s. I know that he had two or three children. I am in possession of some of his personal effects and would like to get them to his family.
Cleona Fern Redford, cousin to Ida LIPE

My grandmother Ida Gunter Lipe had a picture in her album of a young woman named Cleona Fern Redford, the notation said Ida Lipe's cousin. I don't know if Redford is her maiden name, or her married name. My grandmother was born in San Saba Texas, 1872, lived there until she was about 12 years old. At that time the family moved to Arkansas, around the New Blaine, Harkey Valley area.

Was this cousin from the Gunter side or the Harkey side or where?Who were Cleona's parents? Did they live in Texas or Arkansas, or Oklahoma?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

JCobb
