REDMAN FAMILY, ENGLAND

Is anyone out there researching the Redmans from Romsey,Hampshire? Alexander Redman married Sarah Taylor in abt 1768 there. Subsequent generations lived in Banning Street and Newton Lane.
My Great Grandfather born Isaac Simms Redman, Romsey, but on moving to the London area and marrying Alice Every in 1869, was recorded as Isaac Symes Redmayne.
What happened to his sons Thomas Taylor Redmayne, Ernest Redmayne and George Redmayne? Occupation of one of them in 1891 Census, French Polisher, but lodging with another family in Balham. No sign of Isaac, his wife and children until marriage of Clara in 1918 to Harry Purkiss (born Wrestlingworth, Beds 1888). Currently in touch with descendants of Frederick Redmayne (d 1957) and Clara Redmayne (d 1925). Alice Edith Redmayne married Frederick Sharp in 1900 in Croydon and she died 1918. No known issue. Or do you know otherwise???
Have located a Redman family still living in Romsey but they do not know where they fit in.
All replies gratefully received. Will naturally share extensive tree.
