Finding Grandparents death records

Surnames: Redmon, Redman
I have not been able to find records of death for William Thomas Redmon born abt. 1860 or his wife, first name: Judy or Juda or Judie, middle name: Cornelius or Cornelia or Nealie (Nealie and Cornelia were both recorded as her first name in censuses) nee Baker. (she was Judy C. before she was married to my grandfather. She was born abt. 1867.
They married in 1890, most likely somewhere in Stokes County NC. It is possible William Thomas Redmon died on May 2, 1924 but I don't know in which county, but would assume Stokes. It would probably be close to the town of Rural Hall. Search for either of their death records turn up a big fat zero. I can trace her Baker line backward very well, but I think she died after the last accessible census. Any leads or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
