Reed males needed to do DNA Testing
I submitted my brother,'s William Clarence "Bill" Reed, DNA test through Family Tree DNA and then to the National Geographic Genographic Project. He did the 37 Marker Test. We have been contacted by one person who is an exact match, and have found about 6 others who have different surnames, that are related about 600 years ago. It is pretty exciting. There is a Reed surname DNA project. We need more Reed males across the U.S. to take the tests. It has nothing to do with Medical problems or anything. They keep the DNA on file about 25 to 35 years in case new tests become available. They won't release your info or email address unless you sign a release form. My brother and I signed the release form, and we're glad we did. We have some new clues to work with.
