Dorothy Lewis TeTe Reedom is my mother. I believe you are speaking about who we called Aunt "Aumon"( I don't know if I spelled it right)" Henrietta Davis. My mother and her brother Patrick often visited New Orleans to see relatives. There is a connection to the Andrews family My mother's mother was Frances Andrews Lewis. Please be advised that you are correct. Iam one of TE TEEs 12 children. We need to contact each other. My family was looking for you. I am Patrick James Reedom. I live in Fort Worth, Texas. searching for any info on olivia reedom who is my great grandmother who was married to Samuel Daniels. They lived in New Orleans and New Iberia, Louisiana in the early 1900's. They are the parents of my grandmother Maude Daniels who was born in 1911. She is now deceased. I believe she had 3 sisters and 1 brother.

do you know if olivia reedom is marshall reedom's mother? i believe that marshall is the name of my grandmother's brother.

james, in regards to your message regarding the reedom family; my great grandmother is Olivia Reedom. Her married name was Daniels. She had 4 kids i believe 3 daughters and 1 son whose name was Samuel (Sammy) Daniels and my grandmother's name was Maude Daniels. i was just very curious in my research on the reedom family even though my ties to the reedom family goes back 3 generations. i do not know the birthdate of Olivia Reedom but my grandmother was born in 1908, so i figure Olivia to have been born in the 1880's. so if you have any information on the reedom's from that time i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for your reply. I will get in contact with you. I'm trying to do a Family Tree for the Davis Family. My mother was Mary Lou Davis Morgan (d. 1975), she left New Iberia in the 50's and settled in Houston, TX. She and my aunt, Selena Davis Harris (d. 2002) often talked of your mother. My Uncle, John Davis (we call him Uncle Bear) still resides in New Iberia and was a good friend of your father. On my grandma's side of the family, I went all the way back to where they (her and her 3 siblings) were born on Oaklawn Plantation in St. Mary's Parish.(she was an Amos) On the Davis side of the family I cannot find anything before Arthur Davis. I was in New Iberia in 2002 and made a trip to the parish courthouse and found a marriage license for them but nothing else. I will get intouch with you. Thanks for your reply.

Seeking info on Dorothy Lewis Reedom. She was possibly
my grandfathers niece. His named was Arthur Davis Sr. of New Iberia, LA. He died in 1938, lived on Hortense St. (across the bayou Teche) He was married to Henrietta Davis, my grandmother, she died in 1978. I remember meeting my cousin
Dorothy whose nickname was TETE, when I was younger. My mother Mary Lou Davis (d. 1975) was her possibly her first or second cousin. Any info would be appreciated.

Please tell me more about your family.We Reedoms' have relatives based in Louisiana and california. My late father, Marshall Reedom was in World War II; he was discharged in California and spent time with his relatives there too. His uncle was Marshall Reedom too. I have 12 brothers and sisters. We have quite a bit of information on the Reedoms in California and Louisiana. Our earliest ancestor was Ozeme Reedom he was married to Leontine Leblanc they had 7 or 8 kids. his youngest daughter was marie she was born in 1860 and died in the 1900's. There was a migration of Some of the Reedoms to California.
