I have reviewed a census 1850 AR, Izard Co. and found in the household of Jesse Scoggins (age 39)with wife Eliz Hamilton (29)and son Isaac H Scoggin 19).b;TN, Now we know this was the only son of wife Eliz. BUT in the Household are 5 more children, Tabitha Reave (spelling?) age 16. b;ILL, Then in the next lines WITHOUT a last name attached are Sara (14) b;TN, Nancy (11) b;AR, Poly (8)b;AR, Malinda (2) b;AR.

Now on this census the habit of this census taker was to list the last name when it changed and leave blank those that came after. SO were these other children last named Reave/Reed or Scoggins?

We know Jesse and Elizabeth were married 03 Sep 1832, pope Co ILL, and by 1850 the children we know of thus far Nancy 17in 1850, Alexander, Francis, Sarah 12 in 1850, Elvira are households in Independence Co AR with sisters so we assume the parents have died.

So are these Scoggin children of Jesse? if so what wife? as some are too old? OR are they Reed? if so of what family? Please not the birth place of the children are for one= ILL (where we know the Reed Children in the other households were born) the others are TN and AR?
