COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa - Sherry Anne Rees, 64, of Columbus Junction, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City after an extended illness.
Services will be at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home.
Burial will be at the Cambrian Cemetery in rural Columbus Junction.
Mrs. Rees was born Sept. 23, 1935, in Rubio, the daughter of Delano 'Bun' and Marjorie Bond Watson. She married Farrel Rees on July 28, 1963, in Richland.
She worked at the Columbus Motel in Columbus Junction as a manager for 12 years, retiring in 1997.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Welsh United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Farrel; a daughter, Brenda Frost of St. Louis, Mo.; a son, Duane Rees of Columbus Junction; two brothers, Milford Watson of Richland, Dean Watson of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delano and Marjorie Watson
