I'm looking for any information available about John (possibly Johann?) Reick. John came to the United States from Ratzeburg, Germany sometime between 1897 and 1898. He was married to an Augusta (maiden name unknown). I am unsure if they were married in Germany or in America.

They had at least one child (quite possibly more) named Caroline, who was born 10 July 1899.

Caroline Reick then married Clarence Lee Apple 21 May 1918 and had nine children, including my grandfather, James Lee Apple.

I would greatly appreciate any information anyone has on John Rieck, his ancestors or his wife, Augusta.
