Two of my grandmother’s uncles emigrated to the United States. One of them took his 7 children with him. One of those children died during the voyage.
My grandma was born in 1895. She was in correspondence with her relatives in the USA. If there are any letters left, her name is “Afra Schretzmaier”, her maiden name is “Reisner”. Her place of birth and residence was Rieblingen, in the near of Augsburg, Bavaria (Swabia), Germany. Perhaps I will study the registry of christening, to get more information.
