My dad is the late Ervin Rentmeester ( died 2001)
His parents were William & Theresa Rentmeester
All born and raised on the far east side of Green Bay.

I'm looking for relatives to Bob Rentmaster and his Dannish wife Karin born as Fogde or Sorensen.

I happened upon this sight quite by accident. An Earlier posting by Lindsey Rentmeester referring to her Aunt, is me. There was a book published in about 1982 regarding the surname of Rentmeester, having been one of the largest surnames in NE Wisconsin.

We think this because my cousin married Nancy de Groot and they had to research their family tree because they were related somewhere and this is where we think it was. Hi, I am researching my family tree. I was told that the by one of my aunts that the university of wisconsin in Green Bay had a whole thing on the history of the city and much of this included the Rentmeesters who apparently were many in the area at the time.
My father is Clayton John Rentmeester born in Green Bay on March 3, 1948... His father was Clayton Desire(?) Rentmeester born on January 10, 1912 in Upper Michigan(?) and died in January 1978 in Green Bay, his father was John Rentmeester who died in 1961/1962(?) in Green Bay.... Am I related some how?

I am the son of Stephen Rentmeester he is the son of Robert Rentmeester but I don't remember where Robert grew up in Wis. I think it had the word"jefferson" in it and I think it is in the south of Wis. I am in Southern California. I also have a brother Noah. Just thought I would say hi to any of the (now I know) many Rentmeesters.

Milly, you are correct. Philippine is indeed a sister of Andreas. She married Adrian De Groot on Nov. 22, 1881. I have however no information on her birthdate and place.
