I am looking for more information about a William Renton - possibly born in or around Tranent/Haddington area. He was a servant/labourer at Windygoul, Tranent in 1813.

Married Margaret Blair (d.o.b 3rd May 1793)on 3 Feb 1813 in Edinburgh, the marriage was confirmed in Tranent parish the same month. Their son James was born in April 1813 (7 months pregnant, is that the reason for running away to Edinburgh to get married?). James went on to become an exciseman, married a Newcastle lass and worked in England.

Is anyone able to shed some light on William and his ancestors or decendents?
