Resa or Reza

My G-G grandfather was Atanacio Resa. But my grandmother spelled it Reza so not sure . My father spelled it with a "z" but I found the name of my G-G-grand from the LDS site and the name of my G-G grandmother Petra Hernandez they where married on 27 Oct 1876 Santa Rosalia,Camargo,Chihuahua,Mexico. I hope to find out where my G-G-grandfather was from and his family if there is any still alive at this time. Even if my G-G granmother 's family from the same town they where married, my grandmother died before I could ask anything about her parents.Thank You and please e-mail to ljenkins3@centurylink.net

My grandmother was Mary Anna (Resa) Moore. She had a brother Will and sisters named Nora, Virgie, and Ethel. Rudolph and Frances Resa were my great grandparents. In their obituaries it lists Virgie as Virgie Mayfield (Mrs. Nelson) of Cleveland, OK. I wonder if she had a child named Effie. I remember meeting her and her son, Gene, and she called my grandmother Aunt Annie. I know that she was not the child of either Nora or Ethel because I knew them. hello, my name is Richard Reza and my fathers name was Gregorio Reza from Guadalajara, Mexico. I also have a step-brother named Francisco Reza down in Lampasas, TX. I live in Michigan. I always wanted to know more of my dads family also. He came to the US back in the 40's.

My grandfather Conrado Reza is one of Anatascio Reza brothers and our great grandfather is Victorio Reza. Before I go rambling on verify that this info is correct and that we might be related.

Hi Miguel,

I don't know that much about my grandfather Conrado Resa and his family since I have never visited Texas. I do have the address to his youngest daughter (Angie). We also have contact with my mothers double cousin (Mela) which knows a lot about the Resas. I recently got in touch via internet with some more Resas in Visalia, California.

Looking for info. relating to Catarino Reza (Resa) he was born 02.13.1902 and died 02.12.1990 in Marfa, Texas. He had 3 brothers: Conrado Resa died in Van Horn, Tx; Miguel Reza, died in Hobbs, N.M. est. '66 or 67 and a third whose name is unknown the only thing known is that he was in California.
