My mother was Dona Revis born in Pickens county N.C. daughter of Jerry Irvin Revis Jr.1863 -1959 married Elsie Elizabeth Benefield Revis, His father was also Jerry Irvin Revis Sr. Married Harriet Thomas Revis Children were Catherine, Dona, Elizabeth ,John W, Joseph Hughley, Mary ,Ruben, Matilda, Peter Alonzo, another Joseph Calvin and Myra.I have one of the two Joseph married to Sissy Chandler , One of the Joseph ,they called him Joe killed his son -in law just got that from a old family member.I also got her telephone # . I will ask her about you . She is older than I and remembers more.My Grandfather changed his name from Reavis to Revis or the census taker could not spell.
