Daniel Rex born Feb 1848 in PA (died bef. 1930) married a woman named Emelia (Emma) who was born March 1846 in PA. They had a daughter, Amanda Rex who was born August 1873 in PA. Amanda married Elias Middlecamp and had 4 children (that I know of). One of Amanda and Elias' daughters, Emeline (also called Emma) married Salam (Salem) Frey. Salem and Emma Frey were my husband's great grandparents. These families stayed mainly around the Mahoning Twp. and Strauss Valley areas of Carbon County, PA.
