FIRST GENERATION

1. Hans Jurg Ruger Rex was born in May 1682 in Germany. He died in Oct 1772 in PA.

He was married to Barbara [Rex] about 1719. Barbara [Rex] was born about 1689. She died about 1762. Hans Jurg Ruger Rex and Barbara [Rex] had the following children:

3 ii. Wilhelm Rex was born about 1721.
4 iii. Bernhard Jacob Rex was born on 5 Apr 1724.
5 iv. Christopher Rex was born about 1725.
+6 v. John Rex.

SECOND GENERATION

6. John Rex was born in 1731. He died on 6 Jan 1802.

He was married to Sibyele Bastain on 7 May 1754. Sibyele Bastain was born about 1732. She died on 16 Apr 1812.

7. Abraham Rex was born on 7 Nov 1735 in Germantown, PA. He died on 7 Feb 1793 in Germantown, PA.

He was married to Anne Bastian on 26 Jul 1759 in St Michael's Lutheran Church, Germantown, Philadelphia. Anne Bastian was born about 1737. Abraham Rex and Anne Bastian had the following children:

18 xi. Anna Barbara Rex was born on 29 Aug 1775.

THIRD GENERATION

8. Margaretta Rex was born on 28 Apr 1781. She died on 9 May 1866 in St Michaels (Ivy Hill) Cemetery Germantown.

She was married to Joseph Bockius (son of Franz Wilhelm Bockius and Susanna Miller) on 12 Jan 1802 in St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Germantown, Philadelphia. Joseph Bockius was born on 15 Oct 1776 in Germantown Reformed Church, Philadelphia. He died on 18 May 1840 in Market Square Church Cemetery, Germantown Philadelphia. Margaretta Rex and Joseph Bockius had the following children:

27 vii. Caroline Bockius was born on 28 Feb 1813.

29 ix. George Rex Bockius was born on 11 Nov 1816. He died in 1871 in Ivy Hill Cemetery Georgetown Philadelphia.
30 x. Margaret Bockius was born on 29 Oct 1818. She died on 28 Jan 1821.
31 xi. William Rex Bockius was born on 6 Mar 1820.
32 xii. Amanda Bockius was born on 3 May 1821. She died in 1852 in Ivy Hill Cemetery Georgetown Philadelphia.
33 xiii. Amelia Bockius was born on 3 May 1821.
+34 xiv. Anna Louisa Bockius.

20. Catherine Rex was born on 25 Dec 1783. She died on 4 Aug 1857.

She was married to John Miller Bockius (son of Franz Wilhelm Bockius and Susanna Miller) on 30 May 1805. John Miller Bockius was born on 13 Jun 1780. He died on 20 Jun 1867.
