Would be nice to share some dates associated with these :-D

I am researching Henry and Catherine Rhoads (Roth/Rodt) in Westmoreland County, PA - from my research I have found there are several DIFFERENT Henry (Heinrich) and Catherine Rhoads' of various spellings and at about the same time, but different locations in and around PA. Mine came to Westmoreland (Smithton) from Philadelphia, possibly Chester (but watch out, there are English Rhoads' there also - very confusing).

The Capt Daniel Rhoads from Muhlenburg, KY (near as I can tell) is not directly affiliated with the Westmoreland Rhoads' - unless from a few lines back. Obviously, the Westmoreland Rhoads' were German and are readily found in the local Lutheran church records for their period (1800-1840 and beyond).

I have come across a Catherine Rhinehardt, but without looking hard at what I have dredged up, I can not remember if she was affiliated with Henry from Westmoreland.

My Rhoads' also migrated to Indiana, Eastern near Fort Wayne (Aboite Twp) to be more precise. Oldest to Youngest would be Heinrich (1754 Germany-1828 Westmoreland), Henry (1781-1859 Westmoreland), John (1812 PA-1859 IN), Daniel (1840 OH-1931 IN), Kenneth, Kenneth, Kenneth, me (Valarie).

E-mail me at rhoadesv at woh dot rr dot com if anyone wishes to compare notes further, I also check my messages within Anxious to sort it all out :-D
