I am a descendant of Henry's son Jacob, my grandmothers' maiden
name was Rhoads and she married a Rhodes. I believe the Henry you speak of was the founder of Muehlenberg County,Kentucky.
Jacob moved to S. Illinois, 1826. He is buried in a family cemetery outside of Medora, Illinois, Macoupin county. I have both Rhodes/Rhoads fairly well documented and ties of Henry's son Solomon who married a Rachel (Boone) Johnson, a niece of Daniel Boone. I have other info to exchange and there is no charge, I think we paid a big enough price just doing the research.
In addition I know that Henry served under general Muehlenberg at Valley Forge. One of my cousins had bible he carried and 128 pages were missing because they used the paper for their musket wads. The bible was in German. This cousin also had a musket that belonged to Jacob, who also fought with Clark expedition that captured Cahokia and Kaskaskia, Illinois during the Revolution. Henry also served in the Pennsylvania Colonial Legislature from information I have.
