Wow! Glad to find Rhody's! My gg-grandfather was Patrick Rhody. According to 1860 Franklin Co., KY Census Records, was born in Belfast, Ireland. He had the following children: John, Dennis-fought in the Spanish American War, Patric, James, (Bernard (my greatgrandfather), Willie, were twins) Julia, Margaret, and Mary. All were christened at the Frankfort Church of the Good Shepherd-James, conditionally. I THINK Patrick made his entry through Canada, but could be mistaken. He married Elizabeth Major, 1860, in Barren Co., Kentucky. I don't know what happened to my greatgrandfathers siblings, but the names were similar to those I saw posted here. Is there a connection? Anyone missing a Patrick and have info? Thanks. R
