This is what I was told from a really good source: the Rhyno name is French decent. English and Scottish mixed in along thr way. Rhyno derived from the name Renaud. Jean-Joseph Renaud went to Nova Scotia from Montebeliard, France on Sept./1750. Aboard the ship, "Ann". The spelling Renaud changed as generations past. Ryno, Reneau, Rino came from Renaud.
