Hopefully someone can help me. I am searching for a link to my family. My father, has more information and names, and I will post those at a later date. My grandfather was born Juan Gavino Ribera in Las Vegas NM in 1899. His family had a ranch near Cuevo NM. His family had been freighters in the 1800 prior to getting the ranch. He enlisted in the army in 1917 in Farwell, TX and went to France to fight in WWI. It was during the enlistment that the spelling of his name was changed.
