Edward Richards, 1585, ancesters

In tracing back from Edward I find many listing his father to be Hiram Richards born in 1570. This would make Hiram 15 when Edward was born and some list Hiram as marring Eleanor Grimmond in 1558, 12 years before he was born. Also most list Hiram's father as John born in 1544 with his father being William born in 1524 and his father being Anthony born in 1520 - only 14 years old. Does anyone have clarity on this tree and/or primary sources? Some secondary sources show Anthony's parent's to be Edward and Joan Courtney and Edward's father to be James married to Agnes Gamby.

Does anyone have info on this family mentioned in the Lauderdale County 1850 census.
Father

Searching for biological father. I believe his name is (spelled) Jirald Richards and his family is originally from West Virginia, and he should be approximately 60 years old. He would have been in Ohio during 1971-the year I was born, in Euclid. My mother's maiden name is Wooley, and I have two older brothers that he would remember. If you have any information that may help me locate him I would greatly appreciate it.
