Ricchiuti, 82, died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, at the St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center in Columbiana, Ohio.<br><br>Miss Ricchiuti was born April 14, 1927 in Campbell, Ohio (Mahoning County) a daughter of Shefano and Lucia Carano Ricchiuti.<br><br>She was a 1945 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.<br><br>Miss Ricchiuti served our country in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean conflict. She served at Ft. Sheridan, Illinois and in Japan. She was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.<br><br>Miss Ricchiuti worked as an assistant manager for Master Craft Dry Cleaning Company for over 30 years in Highland Park, Ill. She was a member of the 1418 Club.<br><br>She is survived by two nieces, Lucille Campana of Struthers, Ohio and Mary Ann Born of Uniontown, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.<br><br>Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Philomena Polumbo and Mary Sacomani and a brother, Peter Ricchiuti.<br><br>A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 2, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 77 E.
