      <description>Hi, I am trying to help a friend, his father was Johann Richardt, from the Pirka, Graz region of Austrial Steiermark he served in the German army in North Africa, was captured and served as POW in the USA but then married and settled in England.</description>

      <description>I am doing this research for a friend who is desendent of the Richardt family from Germany. Here are the names tha I have Henry Richardt listed in the 1920 census of the US Bonhomme, St Louis Mo listed as being 45 Spouse Adela&lt;br&gt;Father and mother born in Germany for both. Chilkdren Walter age 17 Emil age 16 Clarence age 13 Erna age 12 and Elsie age 8 8/12. &lt;br&gt;Henry was born abt 1875 and Adella was born in 1877. Adela's parents were Conrad Rinne and Melinda Richy(various soellins of Richy)Henry's mother was Elizabeth Von Eime and in the 1900 US census in Carondelet, St Louis Mo I have her as head of the household Listed as Elizabeth Richardt with children. her immigration year was 1857&lt;br&gt;her age was 57 children were Henry age 29 Elisbeth age 25 Emilie age 20 and a Miena Laux age 8 and a William Godish age 28. other names married into this family were LenZ Von Emie and Rinne.&lt;br&gt;All or ant help would be appreciated.&lt;br&gt;Beverly</description>

      <description>Hi Trish,&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I have very little information on my Richard line.  As far as I know, I do not have Canadian relatives...but you never know!!  I have only been able to trace back to the late 1800's to New York City and New Jersey.  Sorry.</description>

I know the spelling of the name has changed throughout the years from possibly Reichardt, Richardt and Richards.  My Great Grandfather, Henry Richard (Reichardt) was born in New York City about 1891.  His parents were from Germany.</description>
