My Grandad was Benjamin Joseph Riches, b. Dec. 25, 1886 in Battersea, with siblings Ada Louisa (Smith), Nellie Elizabeth (Young), May Doris (Patterson) and Dora Theresa (Turrell). His father was Benjamin, b.1862 and his mother Ada Turner,. b.1863. I am looking for any information from before my grandad, who emigated to Canada somewhere around 1905 or so and married here. I understand that the editorial cartoonist, David Smith, is a distant cousin.
