I am researching the life of Reverend James Cook Richmond (d. 1866), and would appreciate hearing from anyone related to him or knowing details about his multifaceted life. He was an Episcopal priest who served as a missionary and helped bring Bishop Onderdonk to justice for immorality. He served as chaplain for a Wisconsin regiment and as a United States Volunteers Hospital Chaplain. Ironically, towards the end of the war charges of improprieties were leveled at him. He was murdered in 1866.
