I have been trying to make a connection between the Richmonds of Spencertown and the
Richmonds of Saratoga Springs, NY. I have info that Roswell Richmond, son of Benjamin,
was born in Saratoga in 1787. Also, Benjamin
is identfied in the Saratoga County 1790 census, with 7 children. Roswell had a son
Roswell Wells Richmond born in DeRuter, NY.
My Ggrandfather, Elisha was born in Saratoga
in 1844, but I cannot make the connection to the Spencertown Richmonds, which can be traced all the way back to John Richmond
born in England in 1594. Any info?
