I am searching for information on William Rickers who owned a bar/saloon/tavern at Essex and Green Sts. in Jersey City, NJ. The only info I have is that he came over from Germany when he was 11, married a woman possibly named Barbara, and had 2 children: William (b. 1oct1905) and Louise Marie(b10aug1904). Louise was my grandmother. William Sr. was possibly born in Schleswig Holstein. His name was possibly changed from Reichers. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
