The Daily Register, Mt. Vernon, IL, Wednesday, May 17, 1899
Two brothers, aged respectively 85 and 98 years, one residing in Clarinda, Iowa, the other in LaHarpe, Ill., have just learned of each other's existence. They separated when the eldest one was 22 years of age. Their names are J. H. and J. R. RICKEY.
(I have no further information, only posted hoping to help someone in their research.)
