Ann Rickey+Mahlon Kirkbride Marriage certificate authentic?

I got a message from a person who has an "original" marriage record for Ann Rickey and Mahlon Kirkbride, married 1753 in Falls Township. By verbal description over the telephone, it has signatures of several people from the Quaker Meetinghouse and appears to be on an animal skin material. How does one figure out if this is authentic?

Family of Samuel B. RICKEY, 1850 IL Census

The 1850 census for Marshall County IL lists:
Samuel B. RICKEY, age 25, farmer, b. NJ
Marty (wife), age 23, b. NJ/NY (hard to read)
Peter, age 6, b. NJ/NY (hard to read)
ANNA, age 3, b. IL
John, age 3/months, b. IL

I believe Anna was my GG-Grandmother. Her name was Anne Melinda RICKEY and she was born about 1847/1848 in IL. I found an IGI record that says she was born 1848 in Oranque, IL. She married Charles COOPER 1868 in Sparland, Marshall County, IL.

I would like to found out more about her, and her parents and siblings. Any help greatly appreciated!
Cheryl Cronin
ccronin@pcisys.net
Roscoe A. Rickey Obituary

From the Bremerton Sun, Monday, Dec. 8, 1958, p. 2:
Roscoe A. Rickey, 57, who was killed Saturday night in an auto accident near Poulsbo [Washington], was well known throughout the Kitsap county [Washington] area.

Rickey, whose home was at Port Orchard Rte 3, Box 408, was born at Ferguson, Iowa, in October, 1901. He came to Bremerton [Washington]during World War I, when he went to work at PSNS [Puget Sound Naval Shipyard]. He was employed as a crane operator there for 20 years.

In 1945, he began working with the forest department on a part-time basis and was named district warden of the Port Orchard department in 1951. An ardent sportsman, Rickey was named sportsman of the year by The Bremerton Sun a few years ago. This credit came largely from his efforts to keep local fishing and hunting areas open to the public. "He went far beyond his duty in cooperating with hunters and fishermen and in trying to make good spots available to them," one sportsman said.

Rickey was a member of Bremerton Elks lodge, Port Orchard lodge No. 90, F&AM, and Port Orchard chapter 44, Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include his wife Hansina, whom he married in Montesano (Grays Harbor county) in 1927; a daughter, Peggy Johnson of Seattle; two stepsons, William Hendry, 219 S. Lafayette Ave. [Bremerton], and Jack Hendry, Wildcat Lake [Kitsap County]; one brother, Russell Rickey, Sheridan Heights [Bremerton]; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Ross, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Hazel Graham, Mrs. Ruth Abney and Mrs. Gladys Goettling, all of Tacoma, and ten grandchildren. Funeral services are pending at Miller-Reynolds.

NOTE: Submitted for genealogy purposes only; the submitter is not related to the family. Information in brackets has been added for clarity.

William & Abigail Rickey

William Rickey was born to Israel & Catherine Rickey on June 19, 1775 . He married Abigail Hinchman daughter of Dr. John & Abigail Hinchman. William died June 24, 1826 in Vernon twp , Sussex Co. NJ. Abigail ,born Feb27,1781 , died Oct. 1,1850 in Vernon twp. Their kids (frst born son, first born daughter) Israel, John-died Aug 21, 1868 13y 11m 5d , William, Catherine(GAIL), Abigail(FARVER),Milly-She was insane and died Mar.16, 1883 77y 2m 29d, Marian(KENDALL), Jane-died Nov 25, 1836 27y 1m 14d, Hannah(Norman), Eliza(BRUT), & Hester. 3RD born son William married Margaret Moore D/O John Moore & Elizabeth Litts. Their daughter, Mary Ann died Sept 27, 1854 0y 6m 13d. Margaret died Oct 11, 1914 at 89y 11m 0d.
The question here is : Is Israel the same as Israel born Jan1 , 1751 in Cortland Manor? In his petition for pension , he said that he lived and served in Sussex Millitia. Later he went to Warwick ,Orange Co. NY, and served under Col. John Hathorn. A Brice & John Rickey lived in Warwick,Orange Co. NY befor the war and also served under Hathorn. We know that John was Israels brother but was Brice a brother or father? When I find him his age will tell. Israel was on the 1790 census for Warwick and then poped up in Bradford Co. PA. in 1812. I think I found where he went from Warwick. He went to Cicero twp , Onondaga Co. NY. In 1808 Israel & Susannah sold a lot and in 1812 by way of an atty. Israel sold a different lot. Remember, Israel showed up on 1812 tax list for Ridgeburry , Bradford Co. Pa.
