Just received information on two AfroAmerican Ridenbaugh's who are buried in Sunbridge Cemetery and I need more information on them if possible.
1) 08 Dec 1869, a Christopher or Christian Ridenbaugh, 64 years, Male, died of smallpox,COL.
2) 03 Jan 1870, an Eve Ridenbaugh child, 6 mos., Female died of smallpox, COL.
Was there a smallpox epidemic in St. Joseph MO during that time frame?
