I just started researching the Walsh branch of my family tree.
In 1920 Florence Rogers left Nova Scotia with Mary Walsh to come to Detroit, Mi. She came to see Bernard Walsh whom she married.
Bernard Walsh was from Nova Scotia b. about 1899, Florence Rogers was born in 1899 Fortune, Newfoundland. Her father was Amos Rogers also from Fortune.
Bernard Walsh's father could be George Walsh from Canso, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. He was a Sea Captian b.
16 April 1858, mother Annie Ellen Kelly from Canso?
Florence Walsh died while living at Duck Lake, Whitelake Township, Pontiac, Mich sometime after 1951. She had rheumatoid arthritis.
Any information would be appreciated. Plus I have info to provide about the Rogers side of his family tree.
