Surnames: Ridenour, Sparrowgrove
Would like to identify the parents/siblings of Sarah J. Sparrowgrove who married Nicholas Cyrus Ridenour on 2 January 1868 in Iowa County Iowa.
Sarah J. Sparrowgrove was born ca 1830-1841 in New York; Nicholas Cyrus Ridenour was born ca 1821 in Maryland. Apparently Nicholas was married twice before he married Sarah; wives (1) Martha (b 1830 OH) and (2) Cynthia (b 1823 OH), in 1850 and 1860 Cedar Co Iowa census, respectively.
Children:
John A b 1845 Iowa; Nicholas C b 1848 Iowa; Mary E b 1860 Iowa; Henry b 1861 Iowa; Daniel b 1869 Iowa Co IA; Cyrus C b 1873---last two sons of Sarah Sparrowgrove.
Will appreciate any information on this family.
