Looking for Elias Rider, who appears on the tax and voter lists for Monroe, Michigan in 1825. He may be the maternal grandfather of Asa (John Ridder) Adams, whose first son was named Elias. Asa Adams was born in New York around 1806. Asa and Elias Adams later lived in Elkhart, Indiana and Muscatine, Iowa.

I wonder if this Elias Rider is the same as the Elias Rider, son of John Rider and Elizabeth Smith who were married in Smithtown, Long Island in 1778. They baptized their son Elias on July 20, 1789.
