Looking for information on decendants of John Rife born in Switzerland (Bern Canton) in 1820 and sailed to USA at the age of 12. He married Mary Kasserman who sailed on the same ship. She was 2 years of age at the time. Their families settled in Benton County, Iowa. My Great-grandmother was Mary Matilda Rife married to Thomas Gainer Strawn.
