I am looking for information for James Monroe Rife born 7 May 1914. I found him on the 1930 census for isabella co. Michigan living with his brother Nello Rife, Nello's wife Anzonetta and their daughter Ruth. James is my grandfather. From what I have been told, he only devulged the information that he was from Virginia but never spoke of his parents or siblings. He also mentioned that the family may have owned oil rights or something along these lines. If this sound vaguely familiar to anyone, please let me know. James married Margaret Martini and had 4 daughters and 1 son. This is all of the information I have about my grandfather and I have no where else to ask beings that he passed away in 1977.
